Nananut Bars

Blah Blah Blah

Hello my friends, its been a while!
I have been very busy because of work, looking for new flat in Berlin (I was living in a share flat the first month and a half in Berlin. Now i do have my own flat!! Loving all the vibes here. if you know me personally, your welcome to visit me! :D
I must admit that during the time i was busy the past few weeks, I have been eating a lot of same old stuff, eg. oatmeal, nana ice cream, a little bit of unhealthy and healthy bought lunch, etc.

About Today's recipes

Today, since i have time (although our stuff are everywhere but i can't be bothered anymore), i thought i made some snack. It was inspired by +Unprocess Your Food It was very yummy!

I named it Nananut Bar cuz its basically full of nuts and well a banana :P
This is the end result how it looks like

Hmmm, doesnt it look yummy?
It is the alternative to  snacks, sweet, cakes, desserts..

Produces:
- 1 cup of raw almonds (or walnuts or hazelnuts)
- 1 big ripe banana
- 2 tbsp of coconut oil
- 1 tsp of cinnamon powder
- 1 tbsp Maca powder
- a pinch of salt
- a big pinch of sesame for topping
- Goji berries for topping

Process:
- blend your nuts until nicely crushed
- Put all other produces in and blend for another 10 minutes
- Put into a plate and make it into a bar shape, which means a little bit thick so when you cut it it look nice! not too thick and not too thin
- freeze for at least 90 minutes

Well after this i saw that there were some leftover that is stuck in the mixer so i decided to make Nana-ice cream afterwards so i do not waste too much of the good ingredients

Produces:
- 1 and 1/2 frozen bananas
- 1 tbsp of rose hip powder
- 1 tbsp 100% peanut butter
- 60ml of almond milk or any sort of milk you like.

Process:
Well that is easy as you may know. Just put everything into the nutty-leftover-mixer and mix until creamy and smooth!
I topped this nana ice cream with mango, blueberries, and goji berries.

Oh god this is 2 in 1!
Both recipes are raw and vegan!

Why we should eat healthy fats?
Before this i believed fat was bad for me cuz it would make me fat but i was wrong! especially when you are in your 20's, fat is good for you and your health!

Why healthy fat is good for you? HEALTHY FAT!
1. It helps you lose weight (when eating in limited amount of course)
2. Fats keep you looking young!
3. decrease risk of breast cancer and heart disease
4. Reduce cholesterol level
5. Keep you full and high energy

The nutritions: in the Nananut Bars, the sources of healthy fat are almonds and coconut oil. These are suggested healthy fat. KEEP IN MIND - NOT all fats from foods are healthy and suggested!

Banana: complex carbohydrate that provides energy and can be absorbed by the body a lot faster than other carbohydrate sources, for instance, rice and breads. Also high in iron and natural sugars, which we should eat to maintain balance nutrition!

Well, you would NOT lose weight if you eat the whole thing at once!! This recipe should last for at least 3-4 days, which means approximately 50-70g a day for either your morning or afternoon snack!

Enjoy!
